The Way, Way Up

Some friends shared their Caps tickets for last nights game. We had a great time, even from the cheap seats! Caps blew a 3-1 lead and the Oilers came back to tie the game 4-4 at the end of regulation. No score in OT and they went to shootouts! Exciting stuff, and the Oilers emerged victorious.

Meals in the Cube

Two of the things I miss the most about Vicksburg are my commute and my office. I love being able to run home at lunch to eat lunch away from my computer, let the dog out, read my mail.   

Now I share a cubicle with three other people who are usually on the phone and it's hard to think, much less eat in peace. But I still manage, :) and this week one of my favorite lunches was buffalo chicken lettuce wraps!

Annapolis by Day

First stop: US Naval Academy, to take some pictures for Grandpa. Severe cold and wind necessitated these be taken from the car. 

Next stop was Cantlers on the River for lunch. We had some oysters, raw and steamed, then some blue crabs. This was the experience that we needed to check off the list! We got a demo from our waitress and then got to the business of picking the crabs. Serious business, indeed.

Then we puttered around the downtown area, shopping and enjoying some slightly warmer weather.
