Pho Real?

Post Christmas foods overload, we were hungry for something a little bit different. Barrett decided it was time to tackle Pho,  Vietnamese soup, and it was a winner. We already have some ideas to make it a little better, and I really want to have some of the soup base in the freezer before the baby comes! 

Christmas 2015, in the books

I know we are supposed to wait to take down the tree, but I cracked early. We are nearing the 30 day countdown to baby and nesting is in full force.

Nope, not Barrett or I. This red shouldered hawk scored a squirrel and mocked us a bit. All in all, it was still a great weekend to be in the woods!
