Innovative Teething
But it's not as much fun as double-fisting broccoli! Mama lets her chew on anything that helps.

9 months in, 9 months out
She destroyed the sticker that says 9 months, so you will have to take my word for it.
She was sent home with a stomach bug, but never showed any signs of slowing down, so we took advantage of a warm day to play outside. And discovered she likes to eat pine needles.

I'll Allow It
She looks a little too much like Barrett in this shot, but it's so cute, I will have to get over it.

Limits
She may not be allowed to touch the sound bar and TV equipment behind her, but she can dance all she wants while dressed like an adorable skeleton.

Resilience on Road Trips
Hotel beds are the BEST!
Dinners out can be a challenge, if at all possible, enlist unsuspecting friends and family to do the feeding.
We brought along some of the "bowl of joy" toys that she loves yet are small enough to lug around.
I noticed on the way home, she was seriously considering hitting the bottle. Who wasn't, to be honest?

But we made it just fine! And home toys never looked so good, she played quietly for almost 30 min.

7 months--the photo drama
Should I smile NOW?
Too much flash. I look like a vampire.
Relax and smile.
Check out my teeth!
I can hardly believe it myself...7 months!

Rosie is six months!
She is sitting well, but still needs support. Shots went well, but Dr found she has infection in both ears. All told, she is a happy baby who smiles a lot, squeals and vocalizes often. Oh, and her first tooth is visible though not emergent just yet. Weighing in at 17 lbs 10 oz, she is very healthy and really enjoying solid foods.

Do you think this is EASY for me?
Learning to crawl has resulted in some frustration for the young Rosie. Luckily, her dog and her mama are willing to lay on the floor with her as cheerleaders.

Sous Chef Rosie
Countertop Bumbo + Happy Baby = enjoyable meal preparation
(Dog at feet to consume any dropped food helps too)
Friday is usually our " fend for yourself, don't expect me to cook" nights, named by our friends Julie and Nate as "No A game Friday" but this week we managed to save some energy for dinner.
Rosie had to eat as soon as she got home, but once she was partially satiated, we got started. Barrett made the starter, but the main course was fish packets with veggies and a citrus ginger sauce. They were a hit! We will definitely make again, but more of them. It was a light "spa" type dinner and our patriarch was still hungry after his.
