Without much advance planning, we have been finding reasons to get out of town and explore some of the nearby cities and sights. In December, we traveled to Port Gibson for a great lunch and a tour of Windsor Ruins. This month, we braved the cold and made it to Natchez for Fat Mama's tamales, unofficial tours of a couple of the plantation homes, and finally dessert and coffee at Biscuits & Blues. Lots of fun, less than an hour away, and another one off the list.

I love the group picture — no one would ever know what took place RIGHT before the pic was snapped! And, how crazy that Mister Golfer appeared directly after. Good times! Let's do it again soon.
