Although he a few some songs bashing Nashville, I am glad that Music City reached out and gave him a record deal. Even better, he still plays small shows in great venues like City Hall, slightly larger than the Wormy Dog, where I saw him for the first time back in 1999. I was thrilled to be in attendance Saturday night, with Jenny, Rachael, and Laura. Pat played a few old songs, lots of his new ones, and put on a stellar performance. He has my vote for Entertainer of the Year.
