Last Sunday, we packed a picnic, a few beers and some good friends and headed south of town.
Bernadette was no fool, she found some shade under the picnic table and even dug down for cooler soils. Grady tried to coax her out, but she played hard to get.
She did lots of exploring, and was rewarded with 4 ticks.
Grady ate well and Olivia blew bubbles to entertain baby Violet. (Parents Mike and Christy not shown).
Grady ate not one, but two slices of watermelon. Bernadette helped herself to the rind. She is such a weird dog. But enjoys her fruit in season.
